AD Facility

Oak Grove Renewable Energy Ltd is set in a rural location 10 miles north of Norwich in Norfolk.

The site was commissioned in 2015 and supplies electricity to the grid at a connection point approximately 400m from the site. Two engines generate the bulk o[f the electrical output, with an Organic Rankine Cycle using surplus heat to generate a further 125kW. The overall output is sufficient to provide all of the power required by 2500 homes.

The site sources feedstock from local farms and much of the digestate goes to land on which the crops are grown, much of which is on light soils which benefit greatly from the addition or organic matter.

Material Change has long term contracts to supply feedstock, remove digestate and provide management and operations for all activities on site.
