Buckingham Compost Facility

The Buckingham Compost facility is an on farm green waste recycling site located at College Farm, Stratford Road, Maids Moreton, Buckinghamshire, MK18 6AG.

This site processes 5,000 tonnes of Local Authority collected green waste per year.  The material is shredded and windrowed to mature for not less than 6 weeks before being screened at 28mm.  The compost produced is spread on the farm under U10 exemptions, giving good nutritional benefit to the soil.

The site operates to PAS:100 & Compost Quality Protocol standards although it is not formally certified.
