AD Facility

Stafford Renewable Energy, also known as Reepham Road, is set in a rural location 7 miles North West of Norwich in Norfolk.

Reepham Road is the slightly younger sister site to Spring Farm and is just 750m away. The site generates 1.5 MW of renewable electricity and in addition to the power going into the grid supplies heat to an adjacent business. The site has recently had an Economiser installed which is designed to make AD feedstock from straw and the output from the anaerobic digestion process. Refurbishments to much of the infrastructure over the next 12 months will prepare the site for the second half of its original design life.
