AD Facility

Rainworth AD Plant is set in Rufford, 17 miles north of Nottingham.

The plant has been operational since 2016 and is a 2.2 MW CHP plant supplying electricity and heat to the nearby Centre Parcs’ Sherwood Forest resort. The facility is permitted to accept up to 42,000 tonnes per annum of feedstock and is accredited under both the Feed-in-Tariff and the Renewable Heat Incentive schemes.

Material Change are delighted to have been awarded a 15 year Full Site Management and Maintenance contract for the Rainworth AD plant. The site will be overseen by Sam Wicks.
