At Helmdon in Northamptonshire

Weighbridge Operator – a fixed term contract to cover Maternity Leave.

Based from our Helmdon Composting facility near Brackley (NN13 5QD) you will be responsible for the operation and administration of the site weighbridge.

You will report to the Site Manager and will be the first point of contact for the site, you will be required to control the traffic and are responsible for near miss and incident reporting.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

· Weighbridge operation and administration

· Site Health & Safety inductions

· Daily Health & Safety reporting

· Traffic Management

· Data entry

· Site Diary Management

· Weather reporting

· General office and cleaning duties

· General site and composting duties

This position is based in an agricultural setting on a working compost site with a transfer station and Anaerobic Digestion plant on the grounds.

Employment type: FIXED TERM – MATERNITY COVER

Commencement: immediate start for a 6 -12 month term which may be extended as needed

Hours of Work: 07:00 am to 17:00 pm Monday – Friday

Weekend and Bank Holiday work may be requested from time to time.

The ideal applicant will be computer literate, hardworking and flexible. You are required to have a good understanding of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Previously weighbridge experience preferred although training will be provided. Experience working in a waste environment would be advantageous but not essential.

Salary approx £21,000 but commensurate with experience

Accounts Assistant to join our expanding team.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
Sales & Purchase ledger processing
General accounts work
Product Sales
Operating a busy weighbridge
General Office duties

The role will include interacting with customers both commercial and public.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Candidates must be self-motivated with the ability to show initiative, be flexible in their approach and be team orientated, you are required to have a good understanding of written and spoken English.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Full time, 09.00 to 17.00, 30 min lunch (37.5 hours per week)
