We are increasing Biodiversity Habitats at our sites
June 24, 2021
At Material Change we are aligning our business model to deliver the ESG progress demanded by GRESB, by ensuring that our business operations impact the environment as little as possible. We know that successful businesses need to be increasingly mindful of the impacts of material resources, not just in the future but right now.

We are increasing biodiversity and habitats on all our sites by introducing bird boxes and planting wildflower meadows. These will help to increase bee, butterfly and other pollinator populations and create new wildlife habitats in the landscaping for creepy crawlies. Join us and do what you can to take part in Pollinator Week – June 21st-27th 2021

Help spread the word about Pollinator Week! Download the official Pollinator Week Logo and share it with your friends and colleagues on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
We have lots of wild flowers in full bloom at the moment at our Haynes & Faldo compost sites. These poppies are a beautiful sea of purples, lilacs and pinks and not only are helping the insect population, but creating a glorious visual display.

As well as spreading wild flower seeds, are also adding bird boxes to our sites to encourage nesting in the area. We have already had birds check out their new homes!
