Weed Control Trial

We are hoeing Maize this year for weed control as a trial to see if we can reduce our reliance on applying chemicals.

It benefits the maize plants as chemical intervention often stresses the plant and stunts the growth, plus hoeing relaces nitrogen from within the soil and allows more oxygen into the roots.
