MEDIA RELEASE

2nd December 2025

BIOTICNRG ACQUIRES LANGAGE AD (UK) LLP

BioticNRG, has acquired the Langage AD (UK) LLP AD plant in Higher Challonsleigh, just outside the City of Plymouth.

The site is an excellent strategic expansion of the BioticNRG renewable energy portfolio, closely located to BioticNRG’s Malaby Biogas site. The site uses food waste from the local area to generate electricity which is supplied into the grid and also to the sustainable dairy operation next door at Langage Farm and Langage Dairy Products which produces ice cream.

Ed Bastow, CEO of Biotic NRG commented that “The site has the potential to be a long term part of our waste management solution in the South West with a transfer station which can serve our other local sites, and planning consent for conversion to a gas to grid facility.

BioticNRG was advised by Brodies (legal), A&M (tax and financial) Fichtner (Due Diligence) and Marsh (insurance)
